Simulation Inventory & Equipment Assistant
Support the daily inventory, equipment, supply, and operational needs of HealthForce Kentucky’s simulation programs in collaboration with Owensboro Community & Technical College. Maintain records in the SHELF inventory management system, organize equipment and supplies, fulfill Simulation team requests, and coordinate warranty and repair processes.
- Track inventory, equipment locations, check-in/check-out, consumables, and service records in SHELF.
- Receive and inspect shipments, fulfill equipment requests, monitor supplies, and coordinate vendor repairs and warranty service.
- Support simulation setup, reset, restocking, equipment movement, and occasional reception coverage.
- Participate in Simulation Operations cross-training based on organizational need, employee interest, and demonstrated competency.
- Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four years of relevant work experience.
- Preferred qualifications: Associate degree, or current enrollment in an associate or bachelor’s degree program and two years of relevant work experience. Related inventory, logistics, technical, healthcare, or education experience; asset-management software and vendor-service experience; and CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain after hire are preferred.
- Work requirements: Primarily on-site, with occasional local, regional, or overnight travel. Ability to independently lift and move equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds; team lifting or material-handling equipment for heavier items.
- Continuation is contingent on funding. Cross-training or employment does not guarantee promotion or transfer.
