Simulation Education Specialist

Location: Owensboro, KY (on-site)
Type: Staff, full-time (12-month)
Salary: $58,000–$62,000

Serve as a Simulation Education Specialist for HealthForce Kentucky in collaboration with Owensboro Community & Technical College. Partner with faculty and content experts to design simulation-based training, train facilitators, and ensure INACSL and accreditation-aligned simulation standards are upheld across the Innovation Center and mobile programs.

Design, plan, and facilitate simulation events across the lifespan, including camps and OSCEs.
Train faculty in simulation development, facilitation, debriefing, and evaluation.
Collect and report data on learning outcomes; disseminate findings with faculty partners.
Requires a bachelor’s (6+ yrs experience) or associate’s (8+ yrs) in a healthcare field, plus active or previously held clinical license (RN, Paramedic, RT, RRT, Social Work, or similar). CHSE preferred.
Grant-funded, 12-month position. Travel up to 75% (transportation/accommodations provided).
